🛒 Ingredients

Servings: 4 calzones
Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 20 minutes

  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil, for brushing
  • Pizza dough or biscuit dough, enough for 4 small calzones

👨‍🍳 Directions

1. Preheat the Air Fryer

Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat while you prepare the calzones.

2. Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well mixed.

3. Assemble the Calzones

Roll out your dough into circles (about 6 inches in diameter).
Spoon the chicken mixture onto one half of each circle, leaving about ½ inch around the edge.
Fold over the dough to form a half-moon shape and seal the edges with a fork.

4. Brush with Olive Oil

Lightly brush the tops of the calzones with olive oil for a golden, flavorful crust.

5. Air Fry to Perfection

Place the calzones in the air fryer basket (leave space between them).
Cook for 8–10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

6. Serve & Enjoy!

Let them cool slightly before serving.
Optional: Serve with warm Alfredo sauce or marinara for dipping.

🧀 Pro Tips & Variations:

  • Shortcut tip: Use rotisserie chicken for quick prep.
  • Extra cheesy? Add a sprinkle of Parmesan to the filling.
  • Vegetarian version: Swap chicken for sautéed mushrooms or spinach.
  • Storage: Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days. Reheat in air fryer for 2–3 minutes.
  • Freezer-friendly: Freeze assembled, uncooked calzones. Air fry directly from frozen (add 3–4 extra minutes).
