Caesar Chicken with Asparagus


Tender oven-baked chicken breasts smothered in creamy Caesar dressing, paired with garlicky roasted asparagus and topped with melted Parmesan. This easy one-skillet dish is perfect for weeknights, yet elegant enough for guests.



🧾 Ingredients

Poultry

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Produce

  • 1 lb (450g) asparagus spears, trimmed
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish

Seasoning

  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Dressing & Cheese

  • 1 cup Caesar dressing
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Oil

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat & Season

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

2. Sear the Chicken

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken breasts for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove skillet from heat.

3. Add Caesar & Cheese

Evenly pour Caesar dressing over the chicken breasts.
Sprinkle each with Parmesan cheese.

4. Add the Asparagus

Arrange asparagus spears around the chicken in the skillet.
Season the asparagus with garlic powder and more Parmesan, if desired.

5. Bake

Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 18–22 minutes, or until:

  • Chicken is cooked through (internal temp of 75°C / 165°F)
  • Asparagus is tender

6. Serve

Garnish with fresh lemon wedges before serving. Enjoy hot!
