Crabby Shrimp Stuffed Garlic Bread Bombs

Crabby Shrimp Stuffed Garlic Bread Bombs

The ultimate fusion of creamy seafood dip and garlicky bread bliss.

Crusty Italian bread is hollowed and packed with a rich, cheesy shrimp filling, then baked until golden, bubbly, and irresistibly crispy. Whether for a party appetizer or indulgent comfort meal, this is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

🍞 Ingredients

➤ Bread Base:

  • 1 loaf crusty Italian bread
  • ¼ cup butter, melted

➤ Seafood Filling:

  • 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

➤ Flavor Boosters:

  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Make the Filling

In a large bowl, combine chopped shrimp, cream cheese, mozzarella, parsley, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until creamy and well blended.

2. Prep the Bread

Slice the bread loaf in half lengthwise. Carefully scoop out the center of each half, leaving a thick shell to hold the filling.

3. Stuff It In

Spoon the shrimp mixture evenly into each hollowed bread half. Press it in gently to pack the filling well.

4. Bake Covered

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush the outside of the bread with melted butter. Wrap each half in foil and bake for 15 minutes.

5. Crisp It Up

Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 5 minutes or until the tops are golden and crispy.

6. Slice & Serve

Let cool slightly (the filling will be hot!). Slice into thick portions and serve warm.

💡 Tips & Tricks

Soft cream cheese = silky filling. Let it come to room temp before mixing.
Crusty bread = structure. Softer bread won’t hold the filling as well.
Make it a meal. Serve with a light salad or roasted veggies for a full dinner.
Great for entertaining! Perfect as a game day snack, seafood side, or potluck showstopper.
